I was born from the vision of Rafael Zarazúa and Marco Novelo, two founders brought together by curiosity and conviction back in 2012. One with over a decade supplying rare crocodile skins to a prestigious French maison; the other, beginning his journey, seeking to learn and create something meaningful.

What began as a sourcing business slowly transformed into something more: a commitment to excellence, to process, to craftsmanship. Years of learning, refining, and partnering with master artisans shaped the foundations of what would become MORELET.

Years passed. They faced trials, triumphs, and transformation. They entered the world of tanning, leathercraft, and finally, design. Not in haste—but through deliberate, thoughtful steps. Testing. Failing. Learning. Evolving.

In 2021, the name took form—an homage to Crocodylus moreletii, a rare species and a symbol of origin, legacy, and quiet strength.

This is not a story of trends, but of time. Of choosing substance over spectacle. And of believing that true luxury is built, not proclaimed.

I am the voice of this journey—of the founders, the artisans, their families, and those who choose pieces that tell a deeper story.
